It was our last night here and with the girls so we decided to go out really early and watch the rugby.I hate rugby but it was an excuse to go out earlier than normal.The vodka buckets were buy 1 get 1 free as a rugby special!
By the time rugby was finished we were nearly there and 2 scousers had joined our group.
Then something happened which I really really regret today.
There is a a bar with a thai boxing ring in the middle with a sign outside reading: FREE BUCKETS FOR THAI BOXERS!
You can probably guess what happened next...
After about an hour persuading the guy to let me and Jen get in and after a lot of jeering from the crowd we are allowed in the ring.
Rubber helmets,gloves and body armour are supplied.We looked like a pair of gimps!We made an agreement that when we got in the ring there would be no punches in the face and to go a bit gentle.
Everything changed once the bell rang.Irish just went mental!I felt bad hitting her hard and was struggling to keep my balance after a blow to the head.3 rounds and 15 min later we were both still standing and Jen was nominated the winner!Which upset the boys as they had placed 20 quid bets on me.But hey god loves a trier!
I have awoken this morning with black and blue arms and I cant put my foot down.When I try to walk I just get the worst pain ever in my knee like my leg is going to snap.
And it had to happen today of all days as we are travelling to Krabbi today.
I am going to go for a sports massage and see if that helps.I dunno..............
I need to sort it or it's gonna do my head in.
But anyways I said I would try everything once!
